Robbie Weis Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman had three goals and an assist in two games

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Lake Forest College men’s soccer player Robbie Weis (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (September 11) for his performance in a pair of victories.

Weis scored the game’s only goal with 8:40 remaining in regulation on Saturday (September 6) as the Foresters pulled out a 1-0 victory at Knox College in the first Midwest Conference game of the season.

On Wednesday (September 9) Lake Forest hosted and defeated Concordia University Chicago 5-1 and Weis scored the first and last goals of the game. He also assisted on the goal that gave the home team a 3-1 advantage.

Weis leads the team with four goals and nine points so far this season.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
