Teisl's First Career Goal Gives Lake Forest First Win of 2000 Season
Ed Elliott Records the Shutout in Goal

DEPERE, WI - Freshman midfielder Steve Teisl picked an opportune time to score his first career goal. Teisl's score, assisted by senior Troy Abeln, came in the 10th minute of the Forester's Midwest Conference match-up at St. Norbert and gave Lake Forest, and goalkeeper Ed Elliott, all the cushion needed for a 1-0 win.

Elliott snared three saves in the first half and four more in the second half to record his first career shutout.

Lake Forest out-shot the Green Knights 21-10.

Lake Forest, now 1-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the MWC, will be back in action on Sunday when they travel to Knox for another conference match-up. St. Norbert's overall recorded leveled out to 3-3-0 and 1-1-0 in the league.
