Attila Schmidt Named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week
Junior had two goals and two assists in two games

Lake Forest, Ill. – Lake Forest College men’s soccer player Attila Schmidt (Akron, Ohio/Western Reserve) was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday (September 18) for his performance in a pair of league victories in the last seven days.

Schmidt, a junior midfielder, began the week by assisting on both Forester goals in a 2-0 victory over Ripon College on Wednesday (September 13).

He scored two goals of his own on Saturday as Lake Forest prevailed 6-0 at Knox College.

Schmidt is leading the team with four goals, three assists, and 11 points so far this season. He also ranked first on the squad in all three categories last year.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director.
