TRENT'S LATE GOAL GIVES FORESTERS FIRST WIN
     Sophomore Justin Trent (Tampa, FL/Seminole Presbyterian High School) pounded home a goal with 1:11 left in Thursday's match at Carthage (2-3-1) to give the Foresters a 2-1 victory. Trent's goal came from the 18-yard line and gave the Forester's their first win of the 1999 season.
     Junior Adam Nawrocki (Bayside, WI/Nicolet High School), in his first start of the season, had four saves and survived a 19-shot barrage from Carthage. Lake Forest had only six shots, but scored on two of them. Sophomore Chris Mickschl (Glendale, WI/Nicolet H.S.) opening the scoring with his first goal of the season. Carthage tied the score on an Adam Striblen goal before halftime, setting up Trent's second half game-winner.
     Lake Forest is now 1-4 on the season and will be idle for more than a week. Their next action will come Saturday, October 2nd versus Grinnell.
