AURORA, IL - In their third game in six days, the Forester men's soccer team finally lost its first game of the season at Aurora University on Sunday (September 23rd). The 2-1 loss drops the team's record on the season to 4-1-0.

Lake Forest got on the board first in the game's seventh minute when senior midfielder Chad Mickschl (Glendale, WI/Nicolet) set up his twin brother Chris Mickschl (Glendale, WI/Nicolet) for his sixth goal of the season. Chris now has 14 points in just five games this year.

Aurora tied the game in the 35th minute and then scored the eventual game-winner just 10 seconds into the second half.

Junior goalkeeper Ed Elliott (Decatur, IL/Culver Military Academy-IN) tallied eight saves in the loss, which was marred by seven yellow cards, five of which were handed out to Aurora players.

Lake Forest will play their third consecutive non-conference opponent on Wednesday (September 26th) when they travel to Benedictine University for a 4:30 match. The Foresters' next home game will be against Midwest Conference foe Grinnell College on Saturday (September 29th) at 1:30 pm.
