Over Carroll
Sophomore goalkeeper Eric Booth (Buffalo Grove, IL/Stevenson) earned his first career shutout. He stopped four shots on goal and made a number of outstanding plays to prevent potential Carroll scoring opportunities. After a scoreless first half, the Foresters finally got on the scoreboard with a Caleb Chase (Hanover, NH/Vermont Academy) goal at the 67:49 mark. Chase, a junior forward, leads the team with three goals and six points on the year. Sophomore midfielder Andy Moore's (Geneseo, IL/J.D. Darnall) earned the assist with a beautiful pass to set up Chase. It was the first point of Moore's career. Lake Forest's next game will be Saturday (September 28) afternoon when the team hosts Carthage College at 2:00 p.m. The Foresters will be at home again next Saturday (October 5) when they take on Benedictine University at 2:00 p.m.
