LISLE, IL - After victories at Carroll College and Carthage College last week, the Forester men's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season at Aurora University on Sunday (September 23rd) and their second at Benedictine University in overtime on Wednesday (September 26th). Both losses were by a score of 2-1.

Lake Forest scored first for the fifth straight game when sophomore midfielder Steve Teisl (Chardon, OH/Gilmour Academy) notched his third goal of the season in the game's 69th minute. Senior midfielder Chad Mickschl (Glendale, WI/Nicolet) picked up the assist, his second in as many games.

Benedictine finally found the back of the net in the 86th minute to tie the score and then put in the game-winner in the 9th minute of overtime.

The loss drops the Foresters' overall record to 4-2-0. They will put their 2-0-0 Midwest Conference mark on the line on Saturday (September 29th) when they host Grinnell College at 1:30 pm. On Sunday (September 30th) they will travel to Beloit College for another MWC match.
