After a scoreless first half at Lawrence, Lake Forest got on the scoreboard first on sophomore Kahiye Hassan's (Portland, Maine/Waynflete School) first career goal at 58:15. The Forester lead lasted a little more than 14 minutes until the Vikings tied the game at 72:32. The home team then netted the game winner with 6:36 remaining in regulation. The only goal of Sunday's game also occurred late in the contest. Chicago converted a scoring opportunity at 71:24 and held on for the victory. Forester freshman Trevor Pontillo (Winthrop Harbor, Ill./Zion Benton) recorded a season-high seven saves in the game. Lake Forest will host Carroll College Wednesday afternoon (October 1) at 4:30.
