Pat Witwicki is the Midwest Conference's Defensive Performer of the Week.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's soccer player Pat Witwicki (Lake Villa, IL/Antioch) was named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week Tuesday (September 30) and Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (October 2) for his contributions to the team's two league victories last weekend (September 26-28).

On Friday, Witwicki and the Foresters shut out Lawrence University 1-0 in the pouring rain. He recorded seven saves in his first collegiate start.

Witwicki needed just three saves to hold Knox College scoreless for the first 77:40 of Sunday's 3-0 Lake Forest victory. He was lifted with just over 12 minutes to play in the team's second straight shutout.

In six appearances this season, Witwicki has made 14 saves and has posted a 2-1-0 record and a 1.08 goals against average.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. The Lake Forest College Athletic Department chooses the Forester Athlete of the Week.
