Lake Forest Falls 6-1 at Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL - The Lake Forest College men’s tennis team fell to 5-7 on the season with a 6-1 loss at Elmhurst College on Monday (April 5). Elmhurst raised its record to 10-2.

Sophomore Sebastian Bienia (Lemont, IL/Lemont) earned the Foresters’ point with a hard-fought 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 triumph at number six singles. He also teamed with senior Luke Figora (Yorkville, IL/Yorkville) for an 8-3 win at number three doubles. Bienia is now 7-2 in singles play this year and 4-1 at number six.

The Foresters will be back on their home court on Tuesday (April 6) against Carroll College at 330 p.m. Lake Forest’s busy week will continue on Wednesday (April 7) at UW-Whitewater. The team will also host St. Norbert College on Friday (April 9) and both Knox College and Beloit College on Saturday (April 10).
