Alex Presman Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Sophomore went 8-0 in singles and doubles combined over the weekend

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College men’s tennis player Alex Presman (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (April 8) for his performance in four Forester victories at home the previous weekend (April 5-6).

Presman started off his weekend with an 8-4 win at #1 doubles and a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at #2 singles in an 8-1 victory over fellow MWC South Division member Monmouth College Saturday morning. He posted the same scores at the same spots in the lineup as Lake Forest defeated Carroll College that afternoon.

Sunday’s first contest was a 9-0 win over Rockford College during which Presman was victorious without losing a single game at #1 doubles or #1 singles. He finished off the weekend by prevailing 8-6 at #1 doubles and 6-1, 6-0 at #2 singles in the Foresters’ 8-1 win over Elmhurst College

Presman outscored opponents 80 games to 19 in his eight combined victories over the weekend. He is now 10-6 in singles matches and 9-6 in doubles play this season.
