Lake Forest Falls at Nation's 20th-Ranked Team
Flaksman and Fretter win at #2 doubles

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Forester men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at the University of Chicago, the nation's 20th-ranked team, on Wednesday (April 8). Lake Forest fell to 7-3 on the season while the Maroons raised their record to 9-6.

The Foresters' lone point of the match came at #2 doubles where sophomore Jon Flaksman (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) and senior Andrew Fretter (Bloomfield, Mich./Cranbrook Kingswood) teamed up for an 8-4 triumph.

The closest score in singles was at #6 where Lake Forest freshman Nick Cantor (Providence, R.I./Wheeler School) fell 6-3, 6-3.

The Foresters' next match will be at Carthage College next Tuesday (April 14) afternoon at 3:30.
