Men's Tennis Picks Up First Win of the Season
Foresters win seven of nine matches against Dominican 

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College won for the first time in the 2001 season with a 6-1 win over Dominican University on Monday (April 2nd). 

Lake Forest (1-6) won five of the six singles matches and two of three doubles matches to seal the victory. All five of the team's singles wins were straight set wins.

Stan Teplitsky (Highland Park, IL/Highland Park), Evan Hall (Novich, VT/Loomis Chaffee School), Beau Llewellyn (Oro Station, Ontario/Eastview Secondary School), and Nick Londy each won both a singles and doubles match for Lake Forest. Teplitsky won 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and paired with Hall at No. 2 doubles to win 8-0. Hall won his No. 4 singles match by a final score of 6-2, 6-0. Llewellyn and Londy won at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, before teaming up for a 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles.

Lake Forest will travel to University of Chicago this Thursday (April 5th), which will mark their second of six scheduled matches this week.
