TOP SEEDED FORESTERS TUNE-UP FOR CONFERENCE WITH THREE WINS
Lake Forest, the South division's top seed in the upcoming Midwest Conference team tournament, closed out their regular season with four matches in two days.  After dropping the opening match to Wheaton 4-3, the Foresters disposed of Concordia-River Forest 6-1, UW-Oshkosh 5-2 and Carthage 5-2.  The Oshkosh and Carthage matches were played on Sunday, with Wheaton and Concordia on Saturday.
Dave Kelly and Shane Bell both won all four of their matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.  Guerin Williams also went 4-0 in singles play for the weekend alternating from the No. 6 and No. 4 singles slots.  The doubles combo of Bell and Ray Ro at No. 3 went a perfect 3-0.  Lake Forest won all of the singles matches against Concordia and lost just one singles match to UW-Oshkosh.
Lake Forest will bring their 13-4 overall record to their match against Beloit in the opening round of the four-team tournament, with the winner advancing to the championship versus the winner of Grinnell and Ripon, the North's top seed and the defending conference champs.  The team tournament will take place Friday, followed by the singles tourney on Saturday and doubles tourney on Sunday.  Kelly and Ro will be defending their conference titles at No. 1 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
