Konrad Bienia Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Junior wins both matches at No. 2 singles

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College junior men's tennis player Konrad Bienia (Lemont, IL/St. Lawrence Cathloic) has been named the Forester Athlete of the Week for the week of March 29th-April 4th. 

Bienia, who plays No. 2 singles for the Foresters, won both singles matches he played last week. 

He scored Lake Forest's only point in a 6-1 loss to St. Norbert College on Saturday (March 31st) by defeating Andy Knutson, 7-5, 6-4. Two days later, during a 6-1 win over Dominican University, Bienia knocked off Martin Stenson, 6-0, 6-1.

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department selects the Forester Athlete of the Week each Thursday.
