Lake Forest College Men's Tennis  News & Notes April 5, 1999                                                                    Contact:  Scott Rucker, SID  For Immediate Release FORESTERS RANKED 14TH IN THE MIDWEST REGION      The latest Midwest regional men's tennis rankings have Lake Forest as the 14th best team in the region.  The Foresters have already competed in dual matches versus three ranked team and will face at least one more team currently ranked ahead of them.  Lake Forest has defeated two team ranked below them - #16 UW-LaCrosse 4-3 on February 27th and #18 Millikin 6-1 on April 7th.  On April 6th, the Foresters were defeated 4-3 by Illinois Wesleyan, who is ranked #13.  The tenth ranked team in the region, Grinnell, still looms on the Foresters' schedule (Sunday, April 18th) and a meeting with #5 Ripon at the Midwest Conference Team Championships on April 30th is highly likely.
