Lake Forest won two of the three doubles matches against Concordia Wisconsin. Sophomore Jon Flaksman (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) and senior Andrew Fretter (Bloomfield, Mich./Cranbrook Kingswood) posted an 8-4 victory at #2 and junior Joe Campagna (Elmwood Park, Ill./Fenwick) and sophomore Chris Paterakos (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) teamed up for an 8-6 triumph at #3. The Foresters also took five of the six singles matches. Junior Alex Presman (Deerfield, Ill/Deerfield) and Flaksman each prevailed 6-3, 6-3 at the top two spots in the lineup, respectively. Fretter recorded a 6-0, 6-4 victory at #3, Campagna won 6-4, 6-2 at #4, and Paterakos defeated the Falcons' #5 player 6-2, 6-3. Lake Forest swept the doubles competition against M.S.O.E. Presman and freshman Jason Wiznitzer (Northbrook, Ill./Chicagoland Jewish) won 8-5 at #1, Flaksman and Fretter prevailed 8-2 at #2, and Campagna and Paterakos registered an 8-4 victory at #3. The Raiders won at #1 and #6 singles while the Foresters claimed the other four singles matches. Flaksman remained perfect on the season (4-0 in singles and doubles) with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at #2 and Fretter won 6-2, 6-3 at #3. Campagna's 6-2, 6-0 triumph at #4 gave him a 4-0 record in singles and Paterakos won 6-0, 6-2 at #5. The Foresters will take on Beloit College next Saturday (February 28) at 12:00 p.m. The match will be played at Boylan High School in Rockford, Illinois.
