Lake Forest junior Rocky Tektumanidze (Riverwoods, Ill./Deerfield) and freshman Jon Flaksman (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) teamed up for an 8-5 victory at #1 doubles against host Concordia. Sophomore Alex Presman (Deerfield, Ill/Deerfield) and freshman Elliot Muth (New York, N.Y./Hill School) won 8-3 at #2 and junior Andrew Fretter (Bloomfield, Mich./Cranbrook Kingswood) partnered with freshman Chris Paterakos (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) for an 8-1 triumph at #3.

Flaksman and sophomore Joe Campagna (Elmwood Park, Ill./Fenwick) blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0 at #3 and #6 singles, respectively. Tektumanidze posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the top spot in the singles lineup and Presman prevailed 6-2, 6-1 at #2. Muth won 6-3, 6-2 at #4 and Fretter came out on top of a 6-1, 6-1 decision at #5.

The Foresters mixed up their doubles lineup before taking on M.S.O.E. Tektumanidze and Presman won 8-2 at #1, Flaksman and Elliot triumphed 8-1 at #2, and Fretter and Campagna combined for an 8-0 shutout at #3.

Lake Forest’s singles lineup remained intact and Tektumanidze (#1) and Muth (#4) won without surrendering a game. Campagna (#6) defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-0; Presman (#2) and Fretter (#5) posted 6-1, 6-1 victories; and Flaksman (#3) prevailed 6-2, 6-1.

The Foresters will be back in action next Saturday (March 1) at Lawrence University, where the team will take on Lakeland College at 11:00 a.m. and the hosts at 1:00 in the afternoon.
