Sebastian Bienia Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman was runner-up at MWC Championship Tourney  
  

Sebastian Bienia was the only unseeded player to compete in the finals.
LAKE FOREST, IL - An outstanding effort at the Midwest Conference Championship Tournament (May 26-27) earned Lake Forest College tennis player Sebastian Bienia (Lemont, IL/Lemont) Forester Athlete of the Week honors. Though he was unseeded, the freshman advanced to the finals at number five singles.

In the quarterfinals Bienia defeated second-seeded Alex Clark of Lawrence University 6-1, 6-1. He then outlasted the third seed, Dave Rahofy of Knox College, in a hard-fought battle that concluded  4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (9-7). His quest for the championship ended in a 1-6, 2-6 finals loss to the top seed, Ripon College's Cole Exner.   

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
