Men's Tennis Finishes Seventh at MWC Championships
Hall, Figora, and Llewellyn win consolation bracket

MADISON, WI - The Lake Forest College men's tennis team finished their season at the Midwest Conference Singles and Doubles Championships over the weekend (May 5th-6th) in Madison, Wisconsin. The Foresters totaled 22 points in the nine tournaments, good for seventh place and just eight points out of fifth place.

Three members of Lake Forest's team - Evan Hall (Novich, VT/Loomis Chaffee School) at No. 3, Luke Figora (Yorkville, IL/Yorkville) at No. 4, and Beau Llewellyn (Oro Station, Ontario/Eastview Secondary School) at No. 6 - won their respective consolation singles brackets. 

Spencer Peoples (Scottsdale, AZ/New Mexico Military Institute) advanced to the consolation finals at No. 2 singles before falling, 10-8. 

The Foresters' No. 1 doubles team of Peoples and Konrad Bienia (Lemont, IL/St. Lawrence Cathloic) also advanced to the consolation finals, while the No. 3 doubles combo of Hall and Andrew Schuman (San Francisco, CA/Lawrence Academy) reached the semifinals of the winners' bracket.
