Inducted 1984   Growing
up on Long Island, New York, Tony attended the Taft School. He participated
four years in golf, soccer and hockey, serving as captain of the hockey
team as a senior.
Entering Lake Forest in 1966, Tony went on to earn four letters in hockey. Captain in his senior year, he led the team in scoring and was selected for All-America honors. Graduating with an American Civilization major, he entered the U.S. Navy and was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base. His duties allowed him to return to Lake Forest to coach the Junior Varsity Hockey team. After his discharge from active duty, he entered the banking business. Tony continued to participate in amateur hockey and officiated at the high school level, while also serving on the Board of Trustees for the Taft School.
