LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College softball player Lisa Jeziorny (Orland Park, IL/Carl Sandburg) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (April 27) for her contributions to three Lake Forest victories in as many games over the last seven days.

The Foresters finished the Midwest Conference portion of its schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Knox College on Saturday (April 22). Jeziorny batted 3-for-3 in the opener with a double, one run scored, and two driven in as Lake Forest won 12-4. In game two, a 12-3 victory, the junior catcher became the fifth player in team history to hit a pair of home runs in a single contest. Both round-trippers occurred with a runner on base, giving her a career-high four RBI.

Jeziorny also cleared the fence on Tuesday (April 25) as the Foresters prevailed 4-0 over Wheaton College. It was her fifth home run of the season.
