The next day Ratliff blanked visiting Grinnell College 8-0 in six innings for her third shutout of the season. She allowed five singles and recorded five strikeouts without a walk in the contest.

Ratliff suffered her only loss of the week in game one of a doubleheader against 16th-ranked North Central College on Tuesday (April 27). She struck out five batters again but allowed nine hits and six runs (five earned) and issued her only walk of the week in the game.

In the three appearances combined, Ratliff went 2-1 with a 1.94 earned run average and 14 strikeouts in 18 innings of work.
