KIM MAGEE NAMED MWC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

For the third consecutive week, a Lake Forest softball player has been named the Midwest Conference's South Division Player of the Week. On Monday (April 17th), junior left fielder Kim Magee (Lake Oswego, OR/Lake Oswego High School) was honored.

Magee led the Foresters to a 5-1 record during the past week, including a 3-1 mark against conference opponents. Magee went 11-for-20 with six runs batted in and 10 runs scored in the six games. She added six stolen bases, two walks, and three doubles for the week.

The victories helped propel Lake Forest into a tie with Grinnell College for first place in the league's South Division with a 3-1 record.

The Midwest Conference Sports Information Directors select the league's Players of the Week.
