Furgerson was dominant on the mound over the past week, posting a 3-0 record with one save while not allowing an earned run in 28 innings of action. She appeared in four of Lake Forest's five games last week, leading the team to a 4-1-1 record.

She pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits, striking out three, and walking none in a 9-0 win over Grinnell College on Friday (April 13th). She then pitched five scoreless innings of relief in the second game with Grinnell, allowing two hits, striking out four, and walking none in a 4-4 tie.

Against Knox College on Saturday (April 14th), she fired a complete-game five-hitter. The two runs she allowed in a 7-2 victory over the Prairie Fire were both unearned. She again came on in relief in the nightcap, pitching three scoreless innings in an 11-4 win.

On Wednesday (April 18th) versus University of Chicago, Furgerson shutout the Maroons, 1-0, in the first game of a doubleheader.
