The Foresters registered eight hits but stranded 13 runners on base. Sophomore Kim Magee went three for three at the plate for Lake Forest and senior Karen Siska added two hits. Each scored a run. Freshman Kate Parkinson took the loss for Lake Forest. Junior Cari Poznansky (four innings) and freshman Chris Laurine (three innings) combined to limit the Eagles to three runs, all earned, in the second game. But the Foresters managed just three hits and two runs of their own. Magee picked up one hit and scored both of the Foresters' runs. She also stole two bases for the game. |
