FORESTERS DROP TWO AT NORTH CENTRAL
     If only games were three outs long.  The Lake Forest softball team dropped both halves of a double header at North Central on Wednesday after scoring a combined five runs in the first innings of both games.  The Foresters were shutout in every inning after the first. 
     In the opener, the Foresters scored their two runs on RBIs by Karen Siska and Kara Ellerby.  North Central scored four runs of their own in the bottom half of the first and added another run in the fourth and three more in the sixth on their way to the 8-2 victory.  Lake Forest managed just four hits and had three errors, while North Central had 12 hits and two errors.  Kate Parkinson took the loss for the Foresters. 
     Lake Forest jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning of the second game.  But NCC scored a run in the second and four runs in the third and fifth innings in route to the 9-3 final.  The Foresters, led by two-hit games by Cari Poznansky and Siska, had seven hits and no errors.  Colette Coulombe added two runs batted in.  Poznansky gave up 12 hits and took the loss for LF. 
     The Foresters record fell to 2-12.  They have yet to play a conference game.
