Lake Forest College will play Ripon and Monmouth will meet Carroll College on Friday in the first round of the Midwest Conference women's softball tournament.

LFC finished second to Monmouth in the South Division while Ripon and Carroll finished 1-2 in the North Division.

The double-elimination event will be held at Monmouth. The winner will advance to the NCAA Division III tournament.
