Anthony Laurino Named Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week 
 

Anthony Laurino is the Foresters' second '00-01 MWC Swimmer of the Week.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Sophomore swimmer Anthony Laurino (Wichita, KS) has been named the Midwest Conference Male Swimmer of the Week for the week of December 4-10th.

Laurino helped the Foresters to a 103-76-55 victory at home over Illinois Institute of Technology and Carroll College, respectively. His times of 9:09.25 in the 800m freestyle and 4:34.35 in the 400m freestyle were both good for first place. He also led off the 200m freestyle relay which finished first in a time of 1:47.76.

Laurino currently ranks first in the MWC in the 1650-yard freestyle, third in both the 500 and 1000-yard freestyles, and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle.

The MWC Sports Information Directors select the league's Swimmers of the Week.
