Forester Women Ranked 15th in the Country
Projected to score 34 points at national meet

Second year head coach Alec Webster expects to make some waves at this year's NCAA women's championship meet.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest College women's swimming & diving team is currently ranked 15th in the nation, according to ncaachampionships.com.

The ranking is based on national meet qualifying times from around the country. Times are sorted and treated like actual results, with the appropriate number of points distributed to each place and school.

Lake Forest is projected to score 34 points in the championship, good for 15th place. Kenyon College, Denison College and Wooster College are ranked first, second and third, respectively in the women's rankings.

Junior Jie Li (Gurnee, IL) is the Foresters best chance to score points at the actual championship in March. She is currently ranked second in both the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events.

Head Coach Alec Webster, in his second season at the helm of the Forester swimming & diving program, looks to take women to the national meet for the first time. Last year male swimmer Rob Edgell ('00) was the Foresters' lone representative in the championships, placing in all three of his events and scoring 7 total points.
