As a Senior in 2002-03
Swam in all 11 meets...voted the team's Most Valuable Swimmer for the
second time in his career...swam the team's fastest times of the season
in the 50-, 100-, and 200-freestyle...won third straight Midwest Conference
Championships in both the 50-freestyle and 200-freestyle...also placed
second at the MWC Championships in the 100-freestyle...won the 100-freestyle
on November 8th against Ripon College and Benedictine University...won
both the 100-freestyle and 200-freestyle on February 8th against the Illinois
Institute of Technology...earned third varsity letter.
As a Junior in 2001-02
Swam in all 11 meets...Midwest Conference Champion in the 50-freestyle,
100-freestyle, and 200-freestyle for the second consecutive year...also
anchored MWC Championship 800-freestyle and 400-freestyle relay teams...won
the 100-freestyle and 200-freestyle at Benedictine University and against
Illinois Wesleyan University on November 9th and again the next day against
Carthage College...won both the 100- and 200-freestyle again on January
12th at Lawrence University...finished first in the 100-freestyle at Calvin
College on February 2nd...earned second varsity letter.
As a Sophomore in 2000-01
Joined team second semester...placed first at Midwest Conference Championship
Meet in the 50-yard freestyle (21.56), 100-yard freestyle (47.92) and the
200-yard freestyle (1:44.82)...also swam leg on conference champion 200-yard
freestyle relay, 800-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay...voted
team's Most Valuable Swimmer...varsity letter winner.
