As a Senior in 2002-03
Swam in 10 of 11 meets...one of the team's co-captains...also
voted the team's Most Valuable Swimmer...swam a National Meet B-cut qualifying
time and the fourth-fastest time in school history in the 200-butterfly...placed
second in the 200-butterfly, fifth in the 1,650-freestyle, and sixth in
the 400-individual medley at the Midwest Conference Championship Meet...won
both the 800-freestyle and the 100-butterfly on November 8th against Ripon
College and Benedictine University and the following day against Lawrence
University...won the 200-individual medley on February 8th against the
Illinois Institute of Technology...earned Academic All-Midwest Conference
honors...earned fourth varsity letter.
As a Junior in 2001-02
Team captain...swam in 10 of 11 meets...placed
second in the 200-Butterfly, third in the 1,650-Freestyle, and fifth in
the 500-Freestyle at the Midwest Conference Championship Meet...won the
200-Butterfly at Lawrence University on January 12th...won the 100-Butterfly
against Carthage College on November 10th...won the 200-Individual Medley
and the 400-Freestyle against the Illinois Institute of Technology on January
26th...won the 1,000-Freestyle at Calvin College on February 2nd...names
Academic All-Midwest Conference...earned third varsity letter.
As a Sophomore in 2000-01
Placed second in the 200 fly, fourth in the 1650
free, and fifth in the 500 free at the conference meet.swam team-best times
in the 1000 free (11:28.00) and 1650 free (18:49.38).also ranked in LF's
season top four in the 500 free (second, 5:32.88), 100 fly (third, 1:04.24),
200 fly (second, 2:15.91), and 200 IM (fourth, 2:28.12).a member of three
of the team's top relay units.varsity letter winner in swimming for the
second time.
