Kendall Swett Earns Second Forester Athlete of the Week Award of the Season
Sophomore diver was named Midwest Conference Diver of the Year

Swett now owns three of the four school records in diving.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College diver Kendall Swett (Akron, OH/Hawken) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (February 16) for her performance at the Midwest Conference Championship Meet the previous weekend (February 10-12).

Swett, a sophomore, was named MWC Female Diver of the Year after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions with scores of 412.30 and 512.60, respectively. The latter mark shattered the previous conference and school record of 461.05 and was nearly 60 points higher than the best score in the entire nation heading into the weekend.

Swett, who earned All-American honors last year, has qualified for this season’s national meet off both boards. The championships will be held at the University of Minnesota on March 9-11.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. It was the second such honor of the season for Swett and the third of her career.
