Maggie Rezac Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Rezac also earned MWC Women’s Diver of the Year honors

 Maggie Rezac was the MWC's Female Diver of the Year.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College freshman Maggie Rezac (Omaha, NE/Marian) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (February 17) for her performance at the Midwest Conference Swimming & Diving Championship Meet at Grinnell College over the weekend (February 11-13).

On Friday Rezac was the runner-up in the 1-meter competition with an overall score of 384.05, just 3.75 points out of first. The next day Rezac claimed the title in the 3-meter event with 457.50 points. For her performance Rezac was named Midwest Conference Diver of the Year in the first year of the award.

Rezac’s 3-meter score set a pool record at Grinnell College and missed the Lake Forest school record and Midwest Conference record by less than four points. In both events she had career-best marks and national meet qualifying scores.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
