Maggie Rezac Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Senior broke school records off both diving boards

Maggie Rezac
LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College diver Maggie Rezac (Omaha, Neb./Marian) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (February 5) for her performance in the team’s dual meet victory over visiting Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday (February 2).

Rezac placed first and broke the dual meet (six dives) school records off both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards. Her score of 313.13 in the 1-meter competition is more than 27 points better than the previous mark and is higher than any diver in the nation posted prior to the weekend. She shattered her own team record of 297.85 points in the 3-meter event with a score of 319.73, which would rank second in the country.

The senior now owns three of the four school records in diving. The five-time All-American and two-time MWC Diver of the Year will compete in the conference championship meet February 15-17 and close out her career at the NCAA Division III Championships March 13-15.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director. Rezac also earned the award once last season.
