Chelsea Bueter Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Junior won both of her individual events and added a relay victory


Chelsea Bueter earned the third MWC Performer of the Week award of her career.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College swimmer Chelsea Bueter (Swisher, IA/Prairie) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (January 24) for her performance in the Lawrence Invitational on Saturday (January 21).

Bueter, a junior, began the day by helping lead Lake Forest to a victory and time of 4:20.56 in the meet-opening 400-medley relay. She then finished more than six seconds ahead of the next competitor in the 200-individual medley with a time of 2:16.60. She also touched the wall first in the 100-butterfly in 1:01.47.

Bueter currently owns the fastest times in the conference in the 200-breaststroke, 200-IM, and 400-IM, and is also ranked among the top three in both butterfly events.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director. Bueter also earned the award twice during her freshman season.
