Junior Taylor Wright (Williams, Calif./Williams) posted similar results, winning the 50-meter freestyle in 25.57 second and finishing second by less than a second in the 100-meter freestyle (58.57).

It was the final career home meet for Sasanfar and fellow senior David Esturain (Chicago, Ill./St. Patrick) and they were honored before the contest. In addition to her victory in the 100-backstroke and 200-freestyle relay, Sasanfar placed fifth in the 200-meter freestyle (2:28.28). Esturain finished second in the 800-meter freestyle (11:07.72) and third in the 100-meter butterfly. He was also a member of the 200-meter freestyle relay team.
