A win in the 200-Breaststroke (2:30.34) kept alive freshman Chelsea Bueter's (Swisher, IA/Prairie) season-long streak of consecutive meets with at least one individual victory. She was also the runner-up in the 200-Butterfly (2:16.84) and third in the 200-Individual Medley (2:14.91), scoring 16.5 points to lead the Foresters. Bueter's time in the 200-Butterfly is the Foresters' fastest this season. Junior Emily Woods (Signal Mountain, TN/Girls Prep) and sophomore Marie Pool (Redding, CA/Central Valley) each claimed a victory and a second place finish. Woods won the 50-Freestyle (26.66) as she did last Saturday at Lawrence and was second in the 200-Backstroke (2:25.26). Pool was victorious in the 100-Freestyle (56.33) and runner-up in the 200-Freestyle (2:06.35) The Forester men's scoring leader was senior Jeremy Koop ( Newton, KS/Newton), who won the 50-Freestyle with a time of 24.29 and was third in the 200-Breaststroke in 2:28.59. Right behind Koop was freshman transfer Michael White (Westminster, CO/Northglenn), who registered the men's other win with a score of 119.80 in the 1-meter diving competition. Freshman Jonathan
D'Angelo (Ann Arbor, MI/Ann Arbor) and senior Brady
Lowdermilk (Parker, CO/Regis) combined for four top-three finishes.
D'Angelo was runner-up in the 200-Butterfly (2:12.41) and 500-Freestyle
(5:18.24), while Lowdermilk took second in the 200-Freestyle (1:53.84)
and third in the 200-Backstroke (2:07.63). Lowdermilk's 200-Freestyle time
is the Foresters' fastest this season and just four-and-a-half seconds
off his career best.
