Maggie Rezac Named Forester Athlete of the Week Again
Diver earned All-American honors off both boards

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College diver Maggie Rezac (Omaha, Neb./Marian) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (March 15) for her performance at the NCAA Division III Championship Meet the previous weekend (March 8-10).

Rezac, a junior, placed sixth in the 1-meter competition on Thursday with a score of 408.00 points in the finals. It was the third consecutive All-American (top eight) finish for Rezac in that event. She placed sixth as a freshman and seventh last year.

The 3-meter competition was held on Sunday and, with 473.70 points and a third-place finish, Rezac posted the best national meet performance of her career. She was 13th off the higher board two seasons ago and eighth in 2006.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. Rezac has how earned the award six times in her career, including four times this season.
