Maggie Rezac and Kendall Swett Named Forester Athletes of the Week
Freshmen earned All-American status at the NCAA Div. III National Championship Meet

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College divers Maggie Rezac (Omaha, NE/Marian) and Kendall Swett (Akron, OH/Hawken) shared Forester Athlete of the Week honors Thursday (March 17) for their performances at the 2005 NCAA Division III National Championship Meet last weekend (March 10-12).

Rezac placed sixth to earn All-American status in the 1-meter diving competition last Thursday with a score of 362.45. Later in the weekend, she finished 13th off the 3-meter board with 363.40 points.

Swett placed fifth in the 3-meter diving competition on Friday and Saturday with an overall score of 399.30 to earn her All-American honors. She finished 13th off the 1-meter board on Thursday, tallying 319.85 points.

They are the fifth and sixth divers in school history to be named All-American and just the second and third to attain the honor as freshmen.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
