Maggie Rezac Earns Ninth Career Forester Athlete of the Week Award
Senior finished among the top three twice at NCAA Championship Meet

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College diver Maggie Rezac (Omaha, Neb./Marian) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (March 20) for her performance at the NCAA Division III Championship Meet the previous weekend (March 13-15).

Rezac, a senior, was the runner-up in 1-meter diving on Thursday. She posted a score of 453.45 points, less than two points shy of the winner.

The 3-meter competition ended Saturday evening with Rezac in third place. Her score of 495.65 was better than the previous national meet record of 493.20.

The top eight finishers in each event earn All-American honors and Rezac attained that status in an individual event seven times in her career, more than anyone else in team history.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. Rezac also earned the award twice earlier in the season, four times last year, and twice as a freshman.
