Lake Forest Falls at Home to Carthage College
Bueter wins each of her three events


Chelsea Bueter has placed first in each of her six individual events so far this season.
LAKE FOREST, IL - The Forester swimming & diving teams hosted Carthage College Friday (November 11) evening. Lake Forest fell 97-92 to the Lady Reds and 94-81 to the Red Men. Both Forester teams own a 3-1 dual meet record on the season. Carthage’s women are 3-1 and the men 4-0.

Junior Chelsea Bueter (Swisher, IA/Prairie) led the Lake Forest women with three individual victories. She won the 200-meter individual medley in 2:32.48, the 200-meter butterfly in 2:37.46, and the 200-meter breaststroke in 2:51.39.

On the men’s side, sophomore Michael Ojdana (Cincinnati, OH/St. Xavier) placed first in the 200-meter freestyle in 2:03.75 and 400-meter freestyle in 4:28.08.

Second place finishes by Forester women were turned in by sophomore Mia Hable (Hudson, OH/Hudson) in the 800-meter freestyle (9:54.20) and 400-meter freestyle (4:57.05), senior Erin Colwell (Northfield, MN/Northfield) in the 200-meter freestyle (2:26.72), and freshman Jenna Sasanfar (Tonka Bay, MN/Minnetonka) in the 200-meter backstroke (2:43.76). Runners-up among the Lake Forest men included junior Jon D’Angelo (Ann Arbor, MI/Ann Arbor) in the 800-meter freestyle (9:51.95) and 200-meter butterfly (2:24.56) and classmate Derek Drayer (Albuquerque, NM/Eldorado) in the 100-meter freestyle.

Lake Forest will host UW-Whitewater next Wednesday (November 16) at 6:00 p.m.
