Maggie Rezac Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior posted NCAA Championship Meet qualifying marks

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College diver Maggie Rezac (Omaha, Neb./Marian) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (November 15) for her performance in the team’s dual meet loss to visiting Carthage College the previous Friday (November 9).

Rezac, a senior, recorded NCAA Division III Championship Meet qualifying scores off both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards. She amassed 266.25 points in the 1-meter competition and 285.95 off the higher board, just 12 points fewer than the school record she set last season.

To actually qualify for her third NCAA Championship meet appearance, Rezac will need to post the qualifying scores two more times and have a recording of her performance approved by the selection committee.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. Rezac also earned the award four times last season and twice as a freshman.
