Chelsea Bueter Named MWC Performer of the Week
Freshman is undefeated after first three meets of her collegiate career

Chelsea Bueter's impressive start to her inaugural season included a pool record and a B-cut qualifying time.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College swimmer Chelsea Bueter was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week Tuesday (November 18) for her outstanding performances that led the Forester women to a 2-1 start to the season. Seven individual victories and two as a member of the 400-Medley relay squad were enough for her to claim the season's first award.

In her first home meet against Carthage College (October 31), Bueter won the 200-Individual Medley, 100-Butterfly and 100-Breaststroke. On the road at Benedictine University (November 1) she was on the winning 400-Medley relay team and touched the wall first in the 200-IM and 100-Butterfly.

Finally, she captured both the 200-IM and 200-Breaststroke at home against UW-Whitewater (November 12) and was again a member of the winning 400-Medley relay team. Her (short-course meters) time of 2:44.36 in the 200-Breaststroke is both a new pool record and a national B-cut qualifying time.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors.
