Kendall Swett Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman diver posted national meet qualifying score 
  

Kendall Swett could be headed to the NCAA Championships.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College freshman diver Kendall Swett (Akron, OH/ Hawken) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (November 25) for her performance at the Washington University Thanksgiving Invitational last weekend (November 20-21). Lake Forest placed third out of five teams at the meet.

Swett placed third in the one-meter diving competition on Saturday with an 11-dive score of 327.65.

On Sunday, she won the three-meter event with a score of 419.10. That mark places her among the qualifiers for the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet.

Swett had also posted a six-dive national meet qualifying score on November 10 in the Foresters’ dual meet victory at UW-Whitewater. Video tapes of both qualifying performances will be sent to the NCAA committee that selects the divers to compete at the national meet.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
