Forester junior Michael Ojdana (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier) prevailed in each of his three individual events on the night. He placed first in the 200-meter freestyle in 2:01.76, posted a winning time of 54.63 in the 100-meter freestyle, and touched the wall first in the 400-meter freestyle in 4:29.75. The Lake Forest men’s other victory came when the 200-meter freestyle relay team of sophomore Dustin Koch (Carmel, Ind./Carmel), juniors Stephen Crabbe (Tucson, Ariz./University) and Nick Primrose (Mayfield, Ohio/Mayfield), and freshman Josh D’Angelo (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) won in 1:44.98. The home team also finished first in four events on the women’s side. Senior Chelsea Bueter (Swisher, Iowa/Prairie) won the 200-meter individual medley in 2:31.07 and the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:20.12. She was also second in the 100-meter butterfly (1:08.71). Junior Maggie Rezac (Omaha, Neb./Marian), a three-time All-American, won both of the diving events. She posted a score of 240.85 in the 1-meter competition and a national meet qualifying mark of 269.80 off the 3-meter board. The Foresters will travel to Carthage College next Friday (November 10) for a 6:30 p.m. dual meet against the Red Men and Lady Reds.
