November 6, 2004 Contact: Mike Wajerski, SID Carthage College Sinks Foresters in Close Meet Lake Forest men’s team has given Carthage trouble in the past, but not this year. “Carthage is perennially-ranked as a top 10 team in men’s swimming,” remarked Lake Forest College swim coach Alec Webster. “We like the challenge of swimming against ranked teams. Meets like these gauge our progress and help us swim better.” Freshman Michael Ojdana (Cincinnati, OH/St. Xavier) had an impressive day, finishing first in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:35.02), the 200-yard backstroke (2:14.72) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:15.98) for the Foresters. Junior Aaron Koop (Newton, KS/Newton), sophomore Jon D’Angelo (Ann Arbor, MI/Ann Arbor), and freshmen Derek Drayer (Albuquerque, NM/Eldorado) and Nicholas Primrose (Mayfield Heights, OH/Mayfield) all scored points for Lake Forest College.
