Mia Hable Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Sophomore won three individual events and a relay on Saturday


Mia Hable contributed to four victories on Saturday.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College swimmer Mia Hable (Hudson, OH/Hudson) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (November 8) for her performance in the Foresters victories over Knox College, Webster University, and host Monmouth College on Saturday (November 5).

Hable, a sophomore, started the afternoon with a victory in the 1000-freestyle. Her time of 11:28.38 was more than 50 seconds faster than the nearest competitor. She also touched the wall first in the 100-freestyle and, with a time of 59.32 seconds, was the only swimmer in the race to finish in less than a minute. Her third individual event produced another convincing victory as she won the 500-freestyle in 5:38.01. The runner-up finished more than 23 seconds later.

Finally, Hable joined three of her teammates for a triumph in the meet’s final event, the 200-freestyle relay. Their time was 1:50.43, four-and-a-half seconds better than second place.
