on the team with a .305 hitting percentage...broke her own school record
for total blocks in a three-game match when she recorded nine blocks versus
Monmouth (IL) on September 28th...earned the second varsity letter of her
career.
As a Freshman in 1998
Totaled a team-high 88 blocks, including 41 solo blocks...her individual
blocks total was more than half of the entire team's total the previous
season and tied for the 14th highest single season total in school history...her
total of 41 solo blocks was the 12th highest season total in school history...played
in 83 games but served just twice...led the team with a .260 kill percentage
and was sixth with 154 kills...established a new school record with nine
total blocks in a four-game match versus Lawrence in the conference tournament...tied
the school record for total blocks in a three-game match with six versus
Carthage...selected the season's first Forester Athlete of the Week for
the September 3-9...varsity letter winner.
As a Prep
Played in every conference match her junior and
senior years for coach Jeff Thompson at MFHS...Honorable Mention
