The 2010 season will be the third at Lake Forest for Jennifer Saylor and her ninth as a collegiate head coach.

Under Saylor's direction, the 2009 Foresters posted a 5-4 Midwest Conference record. Nine of the 13 members of the team were freshmen, including one of the squad's two all-conference players.

Four different Lake Forest players have earned all-conference honors in Saylor's two years with the program. Four Foresters have also been named Academic All-MWC. Six program records were set during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Saylor was the head volleyball coach at fellow Midwest Conference member Illinois College from 2002-07. She led the Lady Blue volleyball team to a 105-100 overall record and 31-23 mark in league play during her tenure. The squad posted a program-best 25-12 overall record in 2004 and placed first in the MWC South Division standings at 7-2.

In eight seasons as a head coach in the MWC, Saylor's players were named all-conference 21 times, including eight first team selections. Her players have also earned 37 Academic All-Midwest honors and a pair of Academic All-American accolades.

In addition to coaching the volleyball team, Saylor was Illinois College’s head softball coach and Director of the Bellatti Fitness Center on campus. The softball team claimed the 2005 MWC South Division title and she was named the division’s Coach of the Year three times.

Saylor spent the 2001 season as an assistant volleyball coach and assistant athletic trainer at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. She also coached local club programs that year.

After a four-year playing career, the final two as a team captain, Saylor graduated from Heidelberg College, also located in Tiffin, Ohio, in 2000. She then earned a master’s degree in sports science from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama, in December of 2001.
